I wonder how many current players flat out refuse to go on the cover? I'm pretty sure if I were Brady or Manning I wouldn't risk it no matter what kind of money they were flashing at me. Favre's a good choice though, it's as good a way as any to keep him retired.
The article mentions Collinsworth and Hammond doing commentary. Is this just extra or is Madden not on it this year?

It's been a generic "Local Sports Announcer" who gets excited when you play well and upset when you don't. I actually liked that idea in concept, but they really needed to add a color guy in there, because it got tedious just listening to the one dude call the play by play. I'm not sure I'm...itching to hear Collinsworth, but I'll probably give it a shot.
Good for Bret, though. I've never been his biggest fan, but it's hard to deny the impact he's had on the game. I just hope this doesn't mean he's going to fall out of his hunting platform or anything.
